Hossan Leong
Hossan Leong is one of Singapore’s most popular and successful television and theatre actors, working constantly and earning an impressive array of awards and reviews, including Best Ensemble Acting in the 2000 Life! DBS Theatre Awards and a nomination for Best Actor in 2005 and Best Supporting Actor for the 2006 and 2003 Life! Theatre Awards respectively. To date, he has performed in more than 50 plays and numerous television programmes.

Hossan LeongHe started his career on the stage with Off Centre. Other plays include Asian Boys Vol.1, Mardi Gras, The Magic Fundoshi, Army Daze, Prelude to A Kiss, Little Shop Of Horrors, Honk!, The Forbidden City, Chang and Eng, Fiddler On The Roof, Twist Of Fate, Beauty Worldand Sing To The Dawn.

Television and Film credits include The Perfect Cut 2, Under One Roof, I Not Stupid and 'You Fu'. Hossan has hosted on Arts Central's Front and Okto's Squirks.

Hossan made his directorial debut in Sydney in 2003 where he directed Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song. He produced, directed and starred in Best Served Cold, a murder-mystery dinner theatre piece for the 2004 World Gourmet Summit. He conceived, produced and directed On This Island, a musical revue, for the APAO Congress 2006. Together with Paul Carr, Hossan wrote, directed and acted in a play for the launch of the 2006 Speak Good English Movement in Singapore. He is very much sought after for Creative Direction for corporate projects.

His fluency in the French language has led him to work with the Alliance Française on a Tribute to Edith Piaf. He represented the Singapore Actors in Paris at the Asian Film Festival. In 2006 Hossan was named Ambassador for Paris 2012 and was awarded the Prix des Ambassadeurs Francophones (Francophone Ambassador Award). Hossan is also the Speak Mandarin Campaign Ambassador for 2005/2006.

Hossan also hosts the Gold Breakfast Show on Gold 90.5FM weekdays from 6–10am. He is also a well-known Host and Emcee, having hosted dinners and corporate events in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei, Shanghai, London, Chicago and New York, for Starhub, UBS, Vickers Ballas, TNT, IDA, The Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NETS, NTUC and SIA, amongst many others.

Hossan also trains corporate clients in drama and presentation techniques. Clients include the Association of Singapore Attractions, Aquent and Fly Entertainment, amongst others.
